Eosinophilic Esophagitis

A chronic immune system disease in which a type of white blood cells (eosinophil) build up in the lining of the esophagus.

Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) is caused by the build-up of white blood cells (eosinophils) in the lining of the esophagus. This elevated number of eosinophils can cause damage to the esophagus as well as dysphagia (difficulty swallowing), food impactions, nausea or vomiting, and abdominal or chest pain.

Eligibility Criteria

At least 18 years of age
You have at least 4 episodes of dysphagia (difficulty swallowing) a week
You are willing to discontinue Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPI), corticosteroids, biologic immunomodulators and other EoE therapies
